Welcome to Our website. These Membership Terms and Conditions apply where you choose to become a member of this website. The following are the Membership Terms and Conditions under which You may use LesbianSugarLounge.com.

In these Membership Terms and Conditions the following terms shall have the meanings indicated: -

 “LesbianSugarLounge.com” or “Us” or “We” or “Our” refer to the owner of the website.

 “You” or “Your” refer to the users of this website and/or any person availing of any information and/or services available on or via this website.

 “Site” means this website. 

1. Acceptance of Membership Terms and Conditions

1.1 By clicking “join now” to register You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Membership Terms and Conditions may be updated or changed at any time without notice. You will be notified of any change when You next log on.

2. Age of Consent

2.1 To register as a member of this site You must be 18 years or over. We reserve Our right to suspend or terminate Your membership if We discover or suspect that You are not over 18 years of age. (See Cancellation and Termination of Membership – paragraph 7.4) 

3. Membership and Subscription

3.1 On payment of Your member subscription You can take advantage of all the Site services. For details of subscription options please see preferences (in footer menu).

3.2 Any subscription paid by you is subject to a minimum contractual period of one month. (See Cancellation and Termination of Membership – paragraph 7.3).

3.3 We may change Our subscription pricing, payment options, renewal terms or member services at any time. 

4. Member Name, Password and Security

4.1 When You register as a member you will choose a Member Name and Password which will allow You to access Your account, access Your profile and to log on to the members’ only area of the Site.

4.2 You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your Member Name and Password are kept confidential and safe from unauthorised access. You agree to immediately notify Us of any unauthorised use or any other breach of security that You become aware of.

4.3 We will not be liable where Your Member Name or Password is used by someone else.

6. Members Acceptable Use of Site

We review all Member profiles entered onto the Site, log chat room exchanges and check instant messages where keywords are triggered to make sure these Terms and Conditions are complied with and to comply with any police or enforcement agency request, complaints or investigations.

6.1 We thus require that you do not:

6.1.2 create or use more than one Member profile at any one time;

6.1.3 access or attempt to access other Members’ accounts or penetrate or attempt to penetrate site security measures;

6.1.4 use the Site to conduct any fraudulent activity;

6.1.5 impersonate another Member, use another person’s photo as your own or use content from another Members profile on this Site or any other;

6.1.6 distribute indecent, offensive, copyright infringing or illegal material or any content or messages that causes or may cause harm to minors, incite disorder or encourage illegal activities;

6.1.7 make insulting remarks to or about another Member;

6.1.8 use offensive, threatening or foul language including, without limitation, racist, sexist, ageist, homophobic or sexually explicit language;

6.1.9 say or do anything that would cause annoyance, harassment, inconvenience or needless anxiety to other Members;

6.1.10 advertise or promote your own or third party services or products including the distribution of ‘spam’ mail.

6.2 At Our discretion we may take any or all of the following actions:

6.2.1 remove member profiles, photographs or other material which may violate these Membership Terms and Conditions, that we deem inappropriate, suspect to be illegal, subject Us to liability or where required by law;

6.2.2 issue Members with written or verbal warnings and take further appropriate action if said warnings are not heeded;

6.2.3 without notice and at any time We may suspend or terminate a Members Account or access to the Site;

6.2.4 inform the appropriate authorities and provide them with information regarding any suspected illegal activity; or

6.2.5 take legal action against a member or Site user in relation to any illegal or suspected illegal activity or any breach of these Membership Terms and Conditions.

What action is appropriate to be taken against any Member will be determined on a case by case basis.

6.3 You acknowledge that we may be required by regulation or law to monitor, store, copy or access material sent by or to Members without further notice to You. 

7. Cancellation and Termination of Membership

7.1 Your Membership services commence upon payment of Your subscription. Subject to Your right to terminate, (see paragraph 7.3 below), You will not be able to cancel the services after this point.

7.2 Subject to paragraph 7.3 below, You can terminate Your membership at any time by notifying Us at LSLounge@aol.com.

7.3 Please note any Member subscription paid by You is subject to a minimum one month contractual period. Should You therefore choose to terminate Your subscription before the expiration of this period, You will not receive any refund in respect of this minimum contractual period.

7.4 Where Your Membership is terminated as a result of Your breach of these Membership Terms and Conditions no refunds will be paid by Us.  

8. Members Privacy and Safety

8.1 For important information regarding the use of Your personal data and Your rights in relation to this please read our Privacy Policy.

8.2 Your safety is very important to Us. Please read the following information and take care of your own safety too.

8.2.1 Don’t give out personal information straightaway. Keep Your full name, address, phone number and email address to yourself.

8.2.2 Get to know someone first. You can message them anonymously via LesbianSugarLounge.com; arrange a chat in Our chat room so that you can chat in ‘real time’ and when You feel comfortable You can swap photos via LesbianSugarLounge.com.

8.2.3 If you do decide to meet, always meet in a busy, public place, like a bar, cafe, restaurant or shopping precinct.  

8.2.4 DONT EVER arrange to meet someone at your house the first time you meet and don’t take someone back to your house until you feel sure about them.  

9. Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright

9.1 Your use of the Site provides You no rights in regard to Our Intellectual Property Rights including trademarks, designs and Copyright or to the intellectual property rights of third parties

9.2 Without limitation, You may not exploit commercially, copy, reproduce, republish, record, download, post, transmit, broadcast, communicate to the public, or otherwise use the content included in or provided via the Site except for your own personal, non-commercial use. 

10. Service Provision

10.1 We do not warrant that the Site will be available uninterrupted and in full operating condition nor that the information provided will be free of error or omission.

10.2 Site access may be suspended periodically and without notice in the case of repair, maintenance, system failure or for reasons beyond Our control.

10.3 All services and content on the Site are provided on an ‘as available’ and ‘as is’ basis. 

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 We do not make any representation or give any warranty in respect of the Site or its contents including information provided by or regarding other Members. Any decision or action taken by You on the basis of information provided on or via the Site is at Your sole risk and discretion.

11.2 We do not give any warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose performance, reliability, satisfactory quality, suitability or freedom from viruses or other harmful programmes of the content contained in or accessed through the Site.

11.3 We will not be liable for any damages, including indirect or consequential losses and whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising in connection with any use by You or any Members of the Site that is in contravention of these Membership Terms and Conditions or is not directly attributable to Our negligence.

11.4 Nothing in these Membership Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude Our liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence. 

12. Members General Information

12.1 We shall not be liable for any failure, suspension or termination of access to the Site or any content arising out of a force majeure event, including, without limitation, failure of infrastructure, government intervention, wars, civil commotion, hijacking, fire, flood, accident, storm, strikes, lockouts, terrorist attacks or industrial action affecting Us or Our suppliers.

12.2 If any of these Membership Terms and Conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by reason of the law then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and continue to be binding and enforceable. 

13. Governing Law  

13.1 These Membership Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England. Disputes arising in connection with these Membership Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
