The Scottish National Party (SNP) have criticised UK officials who return asylum seekers to their home countries without considering what may happen to them upon their return.

The recent case of Ugandan John Bosco highlights the plight of LGBT asylum seekers. Mr Bosco was forced to return to Uganda, a Country which is now seeking the death penalty for Homosexuals, and had to go into hiding before a court finally ordered his return to the UK.

LGBT assylum campaigners have welcomed the support of the SNP during its recent annual conference in Inverness.
