The Toxic Lesbians, a group of Spanish lesbians, are to broadcast a live streamed performance on December 6 paying tribute to the female victims of the massacre at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal - that took place twenty years ago.

This will be a very sad day marking the 20th anniversary since the massacre at the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Quebec (Canada) took place on Dec 6th 1989. A maniac opened fired on twenty-eight people, killing fourteen women and wounded fourteen other people, including 10 women, before committing suicide. The author of these crimes had explained that he was fighting feminism ...

It is important to remember that anti-feminist violence has already claimed many victims, in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and not so far from home every day through domestic violence. As noted by the feminists Benoite Groult and Florence Montreynaud: Feminism has never killed.
