Tadej ZnidarcicOctober 2009 saw the introduction of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill in the Ugandan parliament. It proposed life imprisonment for anyone engaged in homosexual activities and the death penalty for “aggravated homosexuality”.

Tadej Znidarcic’s portraits explore how Uganda’s proposed Bill would affect the country’s gay and lesbian citizens. Each subject, shown with their faces hidden, tell their stories in text that accompanies Znidarcic’s photos.
