Portia de Rossi to become Portia DeGeneres

PortiaEllenActress Portia de Rossi is to take her wife Ellen DeGeneres' surname. The couple married in California in 2008 and remained known by their own surnames.

De Rossi filed her petition just two days after a California judge ruled that Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in California, was unconstitutional.
