Delhi gay pride parade postponed

'A year ago, on July 2, 2009, the LGBT community all over India had spilled out onto the streets in joyous celebration, when homosexuality was decriminalized in India. Last year, of course, that was just days after Delhi’s gay pride parade, so the swirl of rainbow colours in Delhi was even more carnivalesque. But this year, while the pride parade will happen later, in cooler weather, an event will be held in Connaught Place to mark a year of freedom for the LGBT community'
