'The 2008 Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act has paved the way for birth certificates, for the first time in British history, to record two mothers. Natalie Woods, 38 and her lesbian partner, Elizabeth Knowles, 47, described the signing of the certificate as "quite a milestone"'
