The personal website of conservative PRO party lawmaker Cynthia Hotton, who gained extensive notoriety last year after becoming one of the most outspoken opponents to the same-sex marriage law pushed by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, was hacked by gay rights activists today. “Homophobe! You’re the one who’s sick,” her personal website read this afternoon after seemingly being hit by hackers.
“Your son will surely turn out to be gay. Remember that. Kisses,” the message read.
The attackers also uploaded the multicoloured gay pride flag, a universal symbol used by gay rights activists around the world.
Hotton became the target of equal rights activists last year after she suggested that homosexuality was not natural and staunchly rejected to support the same-sex marriage bill and gay adoption.
