June Jordan'June Jordan, an awarding-winning poet, former columnist for The Progressive, author of 28 books of poems, political essays, children’s fiction, was a “boundary crosser”. She came out as a bisexual woman in the 1970s and after a decade-long battle with breast cancer she died in June 2002'
